TMK: Announces a Competition for Developers of Innovative Solutions for Oilfield Services
TMK-Premium Service, part of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK), has launched a platform for working with external innovations called the TMK-Premium Service Pilot Track. As part of the TMK Premium Service program, it will select and test start-up initiatives in the areas of premium pipe service for the oil and gas industry, the development of high-tech threaded connections and the optimization of business processes.
The company focuses on digitalization solutions in the field of labor protection using AR / VR technologies, solutions for high-tech marking and end-to-end accounting of pipe products, anti-corrosion monitoring, projects based on technologies for the process of data exchange between devices (M2M) and the Internet of Things (IoT). ), electronic document management, as well as hydrogen energy projects.
Startups will have access to accelerated project expertise, the opportunity to refine their solution to meet the needs of the holding, and launch a pilot project.
“For many years, we have been successfully implementing R&D both independently and jointly with customers – the largest oil and gas companies. In order to give an additional impetus to this work and expand its ability to search for innovations, TMK-Premium Service is beginning to select external technological projects. Our task is to build an effective system for testing and implementing external breakthrough solutions in order to quickly adapt to market requirements, develop a comprehensive service, improve product specifications and increase the efficiency of business processes. We set ourselves the task of launching at least five pilot projects in 2022,” said Sergei Rekin, CEO of TMK Premium Service.

The new specialized program for the oilfield services segment effectively complements the pool of areas in which TMK works with external innovative projects.
