Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) took part in the XIX Moscow International Energy Forum “Russian Fuel and Energy Complex in the XXI Century”. During the event, the company discussed the prospects for the development of hydrogen energy and its role in this process.

At the conference, TMK was represented by Konstantin Belyaev, Deputy Director for Pipe Sales in the Domestic Market. He informed the participants that TMK and the Sinara Group are currently preparing comprehensive programs for the development of products for hydrogen energy.

“TMK, as a leader in high value-added metallurgy, understands that the future of the energy sector lies in new technologies. Along with the creation of innovative solutions for the production of hydrocarbons, we are working in other promising areas in the fuel and energy complex. TMK’s hydrogen energy product development program includes R&D, participation in government decarbonization initiatives, preparation of infrastructure for the production, transportation, storage, use of hydrogen and related technologies, as well as a number of other activities. In turn, our partners from the Sinara Group focus on technologies for public and rail transport. We expect to approve these technological development programs in the near future, ”said Konstantin Belyaev.

TMK actively participates in discussions on the development of hydrogen energy at the national level. Thus, the company entered the Council of Industrial Partners of the Technological Hydrogen Valley Consortium, which is one of the governing bodies of the consortium created to form a general concept for the development of hydrogen technologies with the participation of scientific organizations, manufacturing companies and specialized departments.
