TMK-Kaztrubprom Won the Competition for Social Responsibility of Business in Kazakhstan
A subsidiary of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) in Kazakhstan, TMK-Kaztrubprom, became a laureate of the Paryz competition for social responsibility of business in the nomination “The best enterprise in the field of labor protection”.
The diploma was presented at a meeting of the city trilateral commission on social partnership and regulation of social and labor relations, which took place in the akimat of Uralsk under the chairmanship of the deputy akim of the city of Mulkai Miras.
“The principles of sustainable development are key for TMK. TMK-Kaztrubprom is actively involved in work in this area. We regularly take part in the republican competition “Paryz”, we comply with the terms of the Memorandum on the preservation of jobs, social support, as well as on the creation of safe and favorable working conditions. These efforts are aimed at creating a favorable environment not only within the enterprise, but also in the region of our presence as a whole, ”said Vladimir Kolesnikov, General Director of TMK-Kaztrubprom LLC.
The annual competition on social responsibility of business “Paryz” was approved by the President of Kazakhstan in 2008. The event is held annually by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken” and the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
