  • TMK, Sinara Group and the Administration of the City of Chelyabinsk Discussed Cooperation in the Implementation of Social and Infrastructure Projects

    Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK), Sinara Group and the Administration of the city of Chelyabinsk discussed cooperation in order to implement joint social and infrastructure projects as part of a working meeting at the site of the Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (ChTPZ), which is part of TMK. The event was attended by Dmitry Pumpyansky, Chairman of the TMK Board of Directors, President of the Sinara Group, Natalya Kotova, Mayor of Chelyabinsk, Valentin Tazetdinov, Managing Director of ChTPZ, and other managers of TMK and Sinara Group.

    During the meeting, the parties discussed joint projects aimed at improving and creating a comfortable urban environment and transport infrastructure, organizing landmark city-wide cultural and sports events , expanding professional opportunities for citizens, developing industrial tourism in the region and further implementing environmental measures. The head of Chelyabinsk and representatives of the City Administration visited the flagship facilities of Chelyabinsk Pipe Plant – the largest workshop in Europe for the production of large-diameter pipes and the ETERNO enterprise.

    “ChTPZ is one of the city-forming enterprises of Chelyabinsk, which is an example and demonstrates high standards of activity, especially in the field of environmental programs, investment projects and social support of city residents who work at the enterprise. As part of today’s meeting, we discussed the further implementation of the traditional for ChTPZ projects on social support and patronage assistance to municipal institutions, as well as new joint initiatives on the territory of Chelyabinsk, including, for example, on the integrated development of territories. We hope for further fruitful cooperation for the socio-economic development of the city, ”noted Natalya Kotova.
