  • TNG-Group is Ready to Explore Deep Wells in Uzbekistan

    The Tatarstan oilfield service company TNG-Group and Uzbekneftegaz have agreed on new joint projects on digital geological modeling. The parties will also hold events for the exchange of experience. And the specialists of the Uzbek state company will improve their skills in training centers and production facilities of TNG-Group. The Devon news agency learned about this from a message from the press service of the Tatarstan company.

    The parties agreed on this during the visit of the TNG-Group delegation headed by the company’s CEO Yan Sharipov to Uzbekistan. In particular, it was about conducting geophysical surveys in the oil and gas wells of Uzbekneftegaz.

    The possibility of performing hydrodynamic surveys, monitoring drilling processes, effective use of modern packers during well workover and perforation work was also discussed. Negotiations were also held on conducting geophysical research in deep wells as part of the exploration work that is being carried out in the Ustyurt region of Uzbekistan.

    “No less promising is cooperation in the field of geological exploration,” said Yan Sharipov, General Director of TNG-Group. “We are used to working under tight time frames, in extreme climatic conditions, on land and at sea. Our company has not only high competences in seismic exploration and non-seismic methods, from the organization of field work to the processing and interpretation of seismic data, but also rich research experience in Uzbekistan. Therefore, we are ready to provide Uzbekneftegaz with the fullest amount of high-quality information about the objects under study.”

    In November, Devon news agency reported that a meeting was held in Tashkent between the Deputy General Director of TNG-Group for field geophysics Farit VASILEV and the Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekneftegaz Mekhriddin ABDULLAEV. As a result, a roadmap on cooperation was signed.

    Geophysical and geological and technological work in Uzbekistan “TNG-Group” has been conducting since 2006. Cooperation between the largest oil and gas company of Uzbekistan and TNG-Group has been ongoing since 2018. The joint venture “TNG LOGGING ASIA” is successfully operating. During this time, several projects have been successfully completed. So, last year, geophysical surveys were carried out in wells and perforation of productive formations.
