TNK-BP has Assembled a Regional Counsel on Cooperation with Contractors and Suppliers in Saratov in the Run up to Capital Repairs at SOR in 2013

TNK-BP has conducted a Regional Counsel meeting on cooperation with contractors and suppliers in Saratov on the preparations for and conduct of capital repair works at Saratov Oil Refinery (SOR, part of the TNK-BP group of companies).

Managers of TNK-BP’s Supply Chain Management Division and more than 40 business partners discussed timely selection of contractors and suppliers for the capital repair works, amongst other topics. The meeting participants were told about the latest changes in the tender process: TNK-BP actively imbeds principles of integrity when contracting and carrying out orders and has created a Conflict Resolution Commission, to look into any disputed situations between the Company and agents.

Mikhail Davydov, Senior Vice President, Refining, also Chairman of the Commission said: “TNK-BP is consistently working to build long term partnerships with contractors, including those involved in the capital repair works. We believe that partners must be sel ected at least nine months before the capital repair works commence.”
