  • Top Executive from KhMAO Appointed Head of Major Oilfield Services Company

Andrey Tregubov, a native of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (KhMAO), has been appointed CEO of Petro Welt Technologies (PeWeTe), a group of companies operating in the oilfield services sector. Tregubov previously served as Executive Director of the oil company “Katobneft” in Nizhnevartovsk.

“Effective May 25, 2025, Andrey Tregubov has been appointed CEO of Petro Welt Technologies Group. Within the Group, he rose through the ranks from head of the sidetrack drilling division at LLC KAToil-Drilling to Executive Director of LLC Katobneft,” the company’s official website announced.

Tregubov graduated from Perm State Technical University with a degree in Development and Operation of Oil and Gas Fields. He has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 18 years in managerial positions. His career began at Lukoil as an oil and gas production operator, followed by positions at LLC BK Eurasia, Schlumberger Logelco Inc., and LLC NewTech Services. He worked at PeWeTe subsidiaries in KhMAO—LLC KAToil-Drilling and Katobneft.

Tregubov replaces Mikhail Syrtlanov, who also came from one of PeWeTe’s KhMAO-based subsidiaries, having worked for over ten years at LLC KATKoneft in Kogalym. Syrtlanov held the CEO position for just over a year.
