TotalEnergies and SOCAR Start Production as Part of the First Phase of the Development of the Absheron Gas Condensate Field in the Caspian Sea
The French company TotalEnergies together with SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) has started production as part of the first phase of the development of the Absheron gas condensate field in the Caspian Sea.
“TotalEnergies and its partner in the project, SOCAR, announced the start of production as part of the first phase of the development of the Absheron gas condensate field. Within this phase, it is planned to produce 4 million cubic meters of gas per day and 12,000 barrels of condensate per day. The gas will be sold on the domestic market of Azerbaijan “, – said in a press release from TotalEnergies, published on Monday on the company’s website.
