U.S. Oil Production Rose by 200,000 Barrels in the Week to June 2
U.S. oil production for the week ended June 2 increased by 200,000 barrels per day to 12.4 million barrels per day, according to a weekly review by the Energy Information Administration of the country’s Energy Department.
On average, over the past four weeks, US oil production amounted to 12.275 million barrels per day.
The department reports exact data on production in a monthly report with a difference of two months. According to final data, US oil production in March amounted to 12.7 million barrels per day, in April – 12.64 million barrels per day. And for the whole of last year, production is estimated at an average of 11.89 million barrels per day.
On June 6, the Ministry of Energy raised the forecast for average oil production in the country in 2023 and 2024 by 80,000 barrels per day, to 12.61 million barrels per day and 12.77 million barrels per day, respectively.
