Ugra Oilmen Produced the 300-Millionth Ton of Uray Oil

In Ugra, 300 million tons of Uray oil have been produced. A test tube with a jubilee sample of black gold was handed over to the Governor of the Okrug Natalya Komarova at the end of last week during her working trip to Urai.

During his visit to the Uraineftegaz Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OOO LUKOIL-Western Siberia), the general director of the enterprise, Sergei Yaskin, said that the oil in the festive test tube was taken on October 30 this year. It was on this day that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry crossed the 300 million mark.

It should be noted that today Urayneftegaz is conducting prospecting and exploration work and production at 38 license areas. There are 30 fields in development, 7 fields in exploration. One of the key features of the enterprise is its territorial dispersion: the nearest field is 13 km from the city, the most distant one is 350 km.

In addition to the production site, Natalya Komarova visited social facilities in Uray, which were created or improved with the participation of oil workers. Thus, the Neftegrad children’s playground was created with funds from PJSC LUKOIL and is designed in the corporate style of the company. The works were started in June and completed in August 2020. There is a pedestrian zone, a thematic playground, a roller playground, workout zones, play equipment, benches and trash cans, landscaping. On the territory of the park, a set of measures was carried out to arrange lawns, lighting with the installation of floor lamps, luminous swings.

Also, an AN-24 airplane was installed in the children’s town, an impromptu runway was created with illumination and engraved with the most significant historical events for the city.

The next object of the governor’s visit is house No. 17-21 in the third microdistrict. Here, with the support of West Siberian oilmen, the sidewalk, parking lot, a sports ground with a soft surface, a children’s playground have been repaired and updated, curbs, benches, and trash cans have been installed.

“Urayneftegaz has surpassed the milestone of 300 million tons of cumulative oil production. Shaim oil is the first West Siberian oil. The general director of the enterprise Sergey Yaskin handed over a flask with the jubilee Uray oil to the district museum of geology, oil and gas. Congratulations to the staff of the organization, the Uraisians, ”noted Natalya Komarova.
