United States Imposed Sanctions Against a Number of Oilfield Companies in the Russian Federation
The United States imposed sanctions against the next companies in the Russian oilfieldings, the Office of the American Ministry of Finance (OFAC) said.
Velesstroy LLC, one of the largest contractors for the construction of oil and gas infrastructure, fell under the restrictions. Earlier, the company introduced a number of key objects of the East Siberia – Pacific Ocean (VSO) oil pipeline, and in recent years has concentrated on the construction of infrastructure for domestic LNG and gas processing enterprises.
In addition, SDN -List includes Gazstroy JSC – Gazprom’s main construction contractor, created on the basis of Stroygazonsulting assets. Later, the group included Stroygazmontazh, Stroytransneftegaz and Gazprom Automation.
The sanctions were also introduced against the Ufa JSC Bashvznepshtechnology, a manufacturer of perforating systems and chemical reagents for the oil and gas production industry.
The sanctions list also includes Gazprom Nedra LLC – an operator of exploration of the gas concern.
