Uralmashplant will supply equipment for the drilling rig “Arctica”
Uralmashplant signed a contract with Uralmash NGO Holding for supply of drilling equipment units for the rig Uralmash 6000/400 EK-BMCH “Arctica”. Equipment exceeding 800 ton will be manufactured, including guide ways, modules of right- and left-hand frames, derrick, module of mechanized receiving board. The delivery term is November 2013.
Drilling rig Uralmash 6000/400 EK-BMCH “Arctica” was designed by “Uralmash NGO Holding” for OOO “Integra-Bureniye”. It shall be used in South Tambey field development on Yamal Peninsula.
Drilling rig Uralmash 6000/400 EK-BMCH “Arctica” is a block-module unit with two-train layout of block containers designed for well drilling in conditions of the utmost North. The area covered by the rig was considerably cut down due to its multistory and two-train assembly. The whole area of the rig is provided with shelters from c rown block to receiving board and equipped with combined heating system that allows of its continuous operation virtually in any weather conditions of the arctic region.
