Working Group Meeting in TyumenNIIgiprogas on Technical Assistance in Assessing Hydrocarbon Reserves at Gazprom plc operations
Working Group Meeting on technical assistance in assessing hydrocarbon reserves at GAZPROM plc operations held on LLC TyumenNIIgiprogas premises on January 14 through 18 is successfully over.
Engaged in discussion were representatives of GAZPROM plc, LLC TyumenNIIgiprogas, Gazprom VNIIgaz, Gazprom Dobycha Nadym, Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg, Gazprom Dobycha Urengoi, Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk, Severneftegazprom, Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan, Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg, VolgoUralNIPIgaz, Tomskgazprom, and DeGolyer and MacNaughton (USA).
The Meeting focused on review of geological and engineering material, as well as revision of field development programs for the year 2012 pertaining to operation areas covered by international audit of GAZPROM plc hydrocarbon reserves.
Upon exhaustive review and discussion of information thus presented, it was decided to submit geological and engineering data prepared by LLC TyumenNIIgiprogas and Gazprom VNIIgaz (together with license holders) to Mineral Base Development Dept. within GAZPROM plc. At a later stage the data package will be transferred to DeGolyer and MacNaughton for reserves assessment in accordance with international best practices.
