Rosneft: Begins Production Drilling at the Chaprovskoye Field

Rosneft has begun production drilling at the third field of the Erginsky cluster – Chaprovskoye. By the end of the year, it is planned to drill 8 directional and 4 horizontal wells. Drilling production wells based on the successful results of exploration is conducted by a specialized subsidiary of RN-Drilling Company using domestic drilling rigs and advanced well construction technologies. In total, 18 drilling rigs will be involved in projects of the Erginsky cluster in 2019. The use of high-tech equipment, which has successfully proven itself during pilot tests at the Kondinskoye field, will reduce the construction time of wells and increase oil production.

The use of the unified infrastructure of the Erginsky cluster in the development of the Chaprovskoye field will give a synergistic effect in the arrangement and operation of production facilities.

The development of new deposits of the Erginsky cluster creates new qualified jobs and contributes to the socio-economic development of the region.
