In the company «Tatneft» since 2016 a program of drilling small diameter wells (SMD) is being implemented, aimed at sealing the mesh . These wells are drilled, mainly on the upper productive deposits of carboniferous drilling rigs of lower power, the design of which is less metal-consuming. Accordingly, their construction requires less clay mortar and other process fluids and chemicals. As a result, a significant reduction in all types of energy costs is achieved. All this together with a complex of innovative measures allows profitable development of small deposits and oil deposits.
In NGDU «Jalilneft» high boom rates are developed Bobrikov and significantly lower rates due to low productivity — Turney deposits of the Lower Carboniferous. At the same time, the upper Bobrikovka strata in some areas are developed with high water cut — 85-95%, and the underlying Tournaisian deposits — with small liquid rates (2-10 tons per day) and water cuts from 10 to 50%.
Taking into account all these nuances for testing the technology of construction of wells for compaction of the SMD grid, a site was selected. The duration of construction of eight wells averaged 6-8 days, for development it took 3-4 days. The cost of each of these wells was 13-14 million rubles. That is, SMD construction costed almost twice as cheap as the cost of constructing wells of the main diameter (24-26 million rubles).
Five wells of the eight constructed later were introduced with the ORD technology (separate-separate extraction — comment by IA Devon). Their average oil production rate was 4.9 tons per day — this is a good indicator.
In addition, it was possible to reduce the cost of equipping the entire bush of wells by 22-23%. In 2019, another 21 wells have been planned for grid compaction.
